We define a cultural statement as a description of who we are as a church community. Ours is the following:
“Passion Church is a community of people in apprenticeship to Jesus Christ who love God, love others and love the world.”
Why?
The “Church” is not a place or building, it is the people. We chose the word apprenticeship because we believe it captures the reverence and participatory aspect of our faith in Jesus. We break this down further into our five cultural values: "Christ is our Core," "Mission is our Mandate," "People are our Priority," "Generosity is our Gift," and "Family is our Foundation."
